PUBG will get AI controlled NPCs

PUBG: Battlefield will enhance non-players with the help of NVIDIA ACE generative AI. These PUBG Allies are called Co-Playable Characters, and they can have real-time conversations with the player about what’s going on in the game. They can also adapt their strategies and plays to work with the player’s style. Krafton, a military distributor, unveiled this technology at CES 2025.

“We will continue to create user experience by integrating CPC into our games in order to establish ourselves as a brand in the game industry,” said Kangwook Lee, head of Krafton’s immersive division. Krafton will also publish upcoming live performances in ZOIand had a CES presentation of CPC in the game.
