We were also contacted by Andrew Couts, WIRED’s senior editor who focuses on security and investigative reporting. Couts shared his insights into the various methods used by fraudsters, including how various groups are now using AI tools to dig into fake videos and trick people into making money. He reminded viewers to watch out for technical tactics often used by criminals, such as creating urgency or urging you not to tell anyone about it. You can learn more about AI scam calls Here.

During the live event, I talked about my recent research AI financial advisors and how it reminded me not to be suspicious of startups who claim to be financially supported.
