Arsenal are in the market for a new striker and are ready to help Mikel Arteta win the Premier League title once again this season.
The Gunners have struggled in front of goal recently due to the poor form of Kai Havertz.
A long-term injury suffered by Gabriel Jesus, who will be sidelined for the rest of the season, made matters worse.
The Premier League giants have been linked with numerous strikers over the past year, the most prominent being Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Dušan Vlahović.
Broadcast news expert Fabrizio Romano, while writing for GiveMeSportprovided the latest news regarding Arsenal’s rumored move for Cesko.
Elvis Bašanović, the Bundesliga forward’s agent, has slammed reports that Šeško is close to joining Arsenal on loan.
Basanović stated in the interview that he never spoke with Arsenal and that the striker is not close to moving to Topnike.
Speaking with GiveMeSporthe said:
“I don’t know where this story came from, but I never talked to Arsenal about the loan of Sesko.
“The Czech Republic is not a loan player and that has never been an issue with Arsenal or any other club. If you ask me if they will move Seško in January, I can only say that Seško is a RB Leipzig player and that he is fully focused on that.”
He was asked about the interest of Topnik and their Premier League rivals Chelsea, to which he said:
“RB Leipzig are the right people to ask these kinds of questions.”
Arsenal have made a “phone call to Man United” to sign one of their stars
The Gunners have no chance of signing Benjamin Sesko in January even though the striker is highly regarded at the club.
RB Leipzig have made it clear that the striker is not for sale in January as they are having a difficult season due to injuries and cannot allow the striker to leave the club.
While the Gunners would love to have someone like him in their squad, they would have to wait until the summer transfer window to sign him.
Any reports of a loan move to the north London club with an obligation to buy have been strongly condemned by his agent which would break the hearts of Arsenal fans.
The Gunners will now have to explore other options on the market and they don’t have long left to do so.
Another attacking creature linked with a move to Arsenal is Yoane Wassa from Brentford.
