After weeks of leaks and speculation, Nintendo has finally announced Change 2which is expected to replace its popular hybrid handheld. The game’s developer released a two-minute teaser today with a first look at the console, a handheld that looks very similar to the original Switch, but bigger.
Nintendo also announced on Thursday that it will have a Direct show to give more information on the Switch on April 2. In the video announcement Nintendo introduced a large screen with a pair of black and pink, and black and blue, Joy-Cons. The video also seems to be teasing someone new Mario Kart games with videos shown for just a few minutes.
The handset will play both Switch 2 and Switch games, Nintendo said in a press release, but added that “some Nintendo Switch games may not be supported or fully compatible with Nintendo Switch 2.”
The original Nintendo Switch was launched in 2017, at a time when Nintendo was recovering poor sales of his old console, and Wii U.
