David Moyes takes charge of Everton for the first time in his second spell at the club when The Toffees host Aston Villa, who are 15 points above them in the Premier League table, on Wednesday.
At his first press conference on Monday, Moyes has spoken of his desire to add “elite” signings to his squad and said he has challenged striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to immediately start adding to his underwhelming two-goal return this season.
Villa manager Unai Emery signed himself a day before trying to go level on points with Manchester City, paying £19m plus £2.5m in add-ons to Borussia Dortmund for the Dutch winger Donyell Malen.
