Up Networkoperating system for AI assistants, has announced its partnership with DreamSmart to create Web3 AI glasses powered by Google Gemini.

This product combines industrial technology, AI technology, XR (extensive), and Web3 incentives, with the goal of redefining human-machine interaction and advancing the smartphone era.

Developed under DreamSmart’s StarV brand, Web3 AI glasses aim to change the way we interact with technology. Powered by Google’s Gemini, these glasses allow you to interact naturally—just by talking—by providing a seamless, intelligent experience. They reduce complexity, adapt to your needs with actionable intelligence, and ensure that your data remains private and under your control.

The glasses weigh only 44 grams, or about half the weight of regular glasses. Designed to be worn all day, providing up to eight hours of battery life for uninterrupted use.

Featuring a corrective lens, the lenses offer extended reality (XR) for performance, entertainment, and everyday work.

Google Gemini and other advanced AI assistants, the glasses offer real-time intelligence, and the company says they surpass the current offerings from big players like Google and Samsung.

Web3 Made Easy: AI Glasses Powering Web3 for Everyone

Web3 technologies are complex, requiring users to interact with established systems, manage wallets and digital assets, and participate in blockchain-based operations. They have not proven to be popular among consumers due to complications.

Through its integration with the Up Network, Web3 AI Glass enhances these experiences by providing hands-free, natural language communication, and real-time and event-aware support, bridging the gap between complexity and availability.

The companies said the AI team is breaking the learning curve and Web3 challenges. By working collaboratively and intuitively, these agents help anyone—even crypto newcomers—interact with blockchain and AI using natural language.

They use incentives that allow users to earn money by interacting with AI agents, providing information, and engaging in shared activities. And users have their data as an asset, all control and privacy through tools and stored anonymously.

The companies said they are making it privacy-first. All transactions are carefully planned on the device, ensuring that users can save their data power without interrupting the usage.

“This partnership with DreamSmart to launch the first Web3 AI glasses represents a major milestone for Up Network,” said Devansh Khatri, co-founder of Up Network, in a statement. “These glasses are not just a tool, they are a way to enter the future of computing technology and environments, combining the dynamics of AI, XR, and Web3 into one powerful ecosystem.”

Web3 AI glasses will be available in Q1 2025. Details on pricing, market availability, and previews will be announced soon.

DreamSmart is based in China. It was founded in March, 2023, and has over 4,000 employees. Up Network is based in Singapore and has 15 employees. Up Network was founded in the summer of 2024, and expects to announce funding soon.
