Amazon is shutting down its service Try Before You Buy The main program at the end of January. The move, first reported by The Informationwas announced with a notice at the top of the Prime Try Before You Buy page, which puts its deadline at January 31. The service has been available to members since 2018, when it was it was first launched as Prime Wardrobe. With it, you can choose up to six products to try, and send the ones you didn’t want within a week for free. You only get charged for the items you choose to keep, and you can choose clothes, shoes, jewelry and more.
In words to Price CNBCAn Amazon spokesperson said, “Based on the integration of Try Before You Buy, we are increasing the number of products and customers are increasingly using our new AI tools such as testing, human size estimation, analysis, and growth control charts. To ensure that they find the right fit, we are abandoning the Try option. Before You Buy, starting January 31, 2025.” If you’re still a user of the service, you’d better get your last orders in quick.
