Him: Welcome to Derry is already one of our most anticipated risk projects in 2025and now we are eager to see that he knows what director Andy Muschietti thinks about his future. If the HBO series does well, he said in a recent interview, he hopes it will last three full seasons, with decades in the making.
It makes sense, since Pennywise (who will be played by NosferatuBill Skarsgård, to restore the bad position from Muschietti They and It is Chapter Two) makes its haunting presence in Derry, Maine every 27 years. Speaking in Spanish Radio Youand it was said by Bloodstains on XMuschietti put in his best part of the three seasons of the story. The first season, which is on its way soon, will take place in 1962. Then, the second season offered will be 1935, then the third set in 1908.
As fans of Muschietti’s films will remember, 2017 They took place in 1988 and 1989, allowing all New Kids on the Block. It is Chapter Two then they go forward-you-know-how-many-years, and deal with people who are now growing up in 2016. Stephen King’s original book, which was released in 1986, takes place in the period of 1957-58 and 1984-85; the results will help us know Welcome to Derry‘s story, but apparently some will be tweaked to better suit Muschietti’s version of the universe.
This story from Muschietti is much more than what we have already discussed Him: Welcome to DerryFuture plans (again, only one season is confirmed by HBO so far). Most of what was made official – including Skarsgård’s place in the game – is that the show is “set in Stephen King’s world. They world;” is based on the novel and “expands the vision” of Muschietti’s two films.
The rest include Taylor Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, and Rudy Mancuso; Muschietti is one of the show’s creators along with Jason Fuchs (who wrote the first episode) and Brad Caleb King (who co-shows with Fuchs), and others. No word yet on exactly when Him: Welcome to Derry will be shown on HBO, but it will be sometime in 2025.
