AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
This is AMD’s fastest and most advanced CPU to date, with 16 or 12 cores and is aimed at developers and (especially) gamers. AMD says the new chip will deliver an average 8 percent performance boost in gaming and a 10 percent improvement in other tasks.
AMD Ryzen AI 5, AI 7, and AI Max
The Ryzen AI chip is not an NPU but a CPU that is optimized to handle all tasks, including AI functions. The first Ryzen AI CPU – the Ryzen AI 300 – was launched in late 2024, and the successors are soon to follow, culminating in the Ryzen AI Max (available in seven different SKUs). With up to 16 cores and support for up to 128 GB of memory, AMD says AI Max offers NPU performance of 50 TOPS. AMD naturally claims that the Max is embarrassingly fast at all kinds of tasks—and boldly claims that it can compete with Apple’s M4 CPU for some of them. Ryzen AI chips are also set to appear in mini PC designs.
AMD Radeon RX 9070 Series
AMD hasn’t revealed much about what will differentiate its latest GPU, except that the 9070 line is aimed at mid-range users. Most notable is that AMD’s naming scheme is changing to more closely match Nvidia’s naming of its products. The 9070 and 9070 XT are coming this quarter.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang took the stage in a shiny jacket and spent almost two hours explaining what the company wants – and as expected it’s all about AI. But instead the key word covered Nvidia’s bread and butter GPUs, which include these new features. More information can be found Here and Here.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series
Without surprising anyone, Nvidia announced a new graphics processor, the GeForce RTX 50 series. On the desktop, these GPUs will be launched at the end of January 2025. The biggest improvement is the technology called Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) 4 and Multi Frame Generation, which uses the method about the AI making part of the pixel stream instead of doing that. using aggressive tactics, improve performance significantly. Huang says the new graphics card has 4,000 TOPS of AI power. The top card in the series – the 5090 – costs just $1,999.
The RTX 50 lineup is also being expanded for the launch of laptops, starting in March 2025. Nvidia GB10
This is the backbone of Nvidia Project Digits“supercomputer AI” that will bring Nvidia’s Blackwell AI platform to the masses. Want to show on your computer, offline? Digits and the GB10 “AI superchip” will make it possible – with 1 petaflop (1,000 TOPS) of performance. The system will cost at least $3,000, and will be available in May 2025.
