Arsenal could still reconsider their interest in two of their main strikers in the summer transfer window, regardless of new deals.

The Gunners are still interested in RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko even though he signed a new contract last year, and CaughtOffside understands that he is likely to be one of their top targets again for the summer of 2025.

Meanwhile, Matheus Cunha has also made Arsenal’s January transfer listalthough he is now also expected to sign a new deal with Wolves, which would include a release clause.

While that more or less rules out a move in January, sources have hinted at it CaughtOffside that Arsenal will not delay their attempt to re-sign the Brazilian in the summer.

Agreeing to a new contract with a release clause for Cunha is still seen as opening the door to a summer move away from Molineux, and the player is sure to be of interest to a number of top clubs, especially if Wolves are relegated.

Who should Arsenal recruit in attack in the summer transfer window?

Arsenal could in theory fit in Sesko and Cunha as summer signings, with the latter able to play out wide or as an attacking midfielder, but also as a striker.

Sesko is more of a standout No.9, so looks like a must-have signing for Mikel Arteta, but he will also want to give himself more options as an alternative to inconsistent performers like Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.

Arsenal have been overly reliant on Bukaya Saka for some time now, while Kai Havertz has performed well but may not be the best long-term option as a striker.

AFC fans would certainly welcome Cesko as an upgrade for Havertz and Jesus in a central role, while Cunha could be another good option to ensure the team doesn’t rely too much on Saka, while potentially providing an upgrade for Martinelli and Trossard.

Sources have also suggested this Dušan Vlahović to Arsenal could also be a story to watch out for as he is expected to leave Juventus, although Manchester United and PSG are also monitoring his situation.
