RFK Jr. ‘wrong’ on vaccinations, says GOP senator


Sen. Bill CassidyR-La., said during an interview on “Fox News Sunday” that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is “wrong” on the subject of vaccinations.

The senator, who noted he hopes to meet with Kennedy next week, said he agrees with Kennedy on some issues but disagrees with him on others.

While Cassidy described ultra-processed foods as a problem, he said Kennedy is “wrong” about vaccinations.

Fox News Digital asked if Cassidy plans to vote against confirming Kennedy to HHS because of the disagreement about vaccines.

“Cassidy does not discuss his votes before meetings with the nominees and the Senate process unfolds,” a Cassidy spokesman said in a statement. “Cassidy explained that these are issues that she wants to discuss with RFK Jr in her meeting with him this week and she hopes to have a good dialogue with him.”

Reached by Fox News Digital on Monday, Kennedy declined to comment on Cassidy’s claim that he is “wrong” on the vaccine issue.

But Kennedy has previously said he doesn’t want to stop people from getting vaccines.
