It has built-in cameras and microphones, which allow it to move around and respond to commands and commands. It runs on several types of major languages ​​that help recognize its words and images.

When we saw it, Mi-Mo didn’t show many signs of self-control. It was often seen at the fair and “waved” at passers-by, which was quite a sight. Jizai’s Yuji Oshima told me that the company sees it as useful for other childcare tasks, such as reminding kids to do their homework and then monitoring them to make sure it’s done. But Mi-Mo was not designed to be a care robot. Oshima said it should be an open platform for developers, researchers and others to find their own ways to use the robot. Jizai also wants it to be flexible so people can customize the Mi-Mo with bespoke software, additional sensors or other hardware.

Jizai is planning to make Mi-Mo into a construction kit later this year and it has been opened waiting list where interested parties can register for the change.
