Stability
Comfort is one of the most important things we need to make mattress reviews for you. When we measure, we measure and write two firm goals: Goals and objectives. After the team tested and found a responsive mattress, CNET uses the Mattress Smasher 9000 to put it to the test. This bright orange machine measures the stability of the bed based on the force of a 160-pound person.
Isolation
Try to isolate yourself with a glass of water at the end and rotate. It passed.
Isolation refers to how well the bed reduces surface movement. If you sleep with someone who moves around a lot or have a furry friend who jumps on the bed, you know the importance of isolation.
We try to differentiate ourselves in two ways. First, I lie on the bed and close my eyes. Then, my teammate moves around on the bed next to me, varying the amount of movement to get the full picture. Second, we test the water, which involves rolling in and out of a glass of water at the edge of the bed. We see how much water is flowing and whether the glass is broken.
Edge support
The edge support is the power around the bed. This is a big deal if you are like me and like to sleep on the edge of the bed. To test the edge support, we lie down on the edge of each bed and measure and measure the amount. If it looks like I might fall, it doesn’t have good support.
Heat
How well the bed regulates temperature is especially important for hot sleepers. To ensure consistency, all CNET mattress tests are done in a temperature-controlled room. In addition to rating our experience with the bed, we also analyzed the design to see if any cooling devices were included.
