Every month seems to bring new headphones with long battery life and compact designs. So, we can’t name anything we like. But if you’re on the hunt, here are some ideas.
Soundcore Space A40 for $60: Although they are no longer on our main list, the Space A40 is still one of my favorite screens for the money, offering great looks, great sound, and the best noise cancellation in their price range. They also look polished, with their lack of sensors only giving away their low price.
Sony Linkbuds Worth $200: Sony’s Linkbuds Fit offers clear and crisp sound, a natural looking display, and light and compact fit, helping them meet their “everywhere wear” needs. They offer solid features, but skimp on battery life at just 5.5 hours per charge and their noise cancellation is good. Their reliance on lightweight silicone legs and surprisingly responsive controls also keep the price down, but they’re still Sony blades and may be worth the trade.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro for $100-200: The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are getting old, but they’re still among the best buds to pair with a Samsung phone. They don’t have the connectivity of many devices that we choose for Android users, and their five-hour battery seems very short these days, but it offers excellent sound, IPX7 waterproofing, and the special features that have given AirPods Pro. This makes them worth considering for sale.
Pixel Buds A Series for $99: This used to be the best choice for many people, but it has now been overshadowed by other cheaper options that also include features such as noise cancellation. If you can find a pair on sale, they’re still worth grabbing, especially if you have an Android phone.
OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro for $150: These comfortable, lightweight headphones have multiple pairings, making them perfect for people who like to work with a laptop and a cell phone at the same time (7/10, WIRED Recommends). We didn’t like their controls and thought the noise cancellation was better. Also, it’s another version of AirPods, design-wise.
Soundpeats Air4 for $80: Soundpeats’ Air4 (7/10, WIRED Recommends) may be an obvious knock-off of the AirPods Pro, but it’s a great value for the money. You won’t get much better, except for Apple’s Find My Help or iCloud sharing, but you’ll get good sound and features, including good noise cancellation, at a very low price. Although this is not a luxury option, it is a great buy, especially for sale.
Montblanc MTB 03 for $395: These headphones are expensive for most buyers, but if you have the money, you’ll get the luxury that the brand deserves. Montblanc has invited many veterans from the audio industry to design and sound these blades. The result is a pair of tiny, soft, and shiny wireless earbuds that sound amazing.
Apple/Beats Powerbeats Pro for $180: Apple’s beefy Powerbeats Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommends) offer more protection, sound better than Apple’s AirPods or Beats before them, and squeeze nine hours of life without charging. They’re getting a little long in the tooth and feature some of the more common features of now such as display mode and ANC, but they may still be worth considering for those who can settle down well.
Raycon Everyday Earbuds for $80: This YouTuber’s favorite pair of headphones are actually a cheap pair (7/10, WRED Review). They are small and light, and come with IPX6 rating, making them ideal for exercise.
Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport for $254: The Sport is a great option that comes with noise canceling and amazing visuals, but the high price keeps it out of many people’s hands.
