Boxing results: Hitchins Kos Cambosos JR.; Cruz stops thinking in a light eliminator


IBF World Champion in the Super Gentle Category Richardson Hitchins (20-0, 8 KO) stopped the former IBF, WBA, WBO champion in the lightweight category of George ‘Ferocious’ Cambosos, Jr. (22-4, 10 Kos) in the last minute of the eighth round on Saturday night at the New York Theater. The fight was stopped at 2:33 eighth round of 12 rounds scheduled.

In the first three rounds, Cambosos was an aggressor, trying to get inside with a stitch, and Hitchins opposed him. In the fourth round, Cambosos had Welt under the fights from the eyes of Hitchins. In the fifth round, Hitchins went Cambosos throughout the circle.
