Boxing results: Hitchins Kos Cambosos JR.; Cruz stops thinking in a light eliminator

IBF World Champion in the Super Gentle Category Richardson Hitchins (20-0, 8 KO) stopped the former IBF, WBA, WBO champion in the lightweight category of George ‘Ferocious’ Cambosos, Jr. (22-4, 10 Kos) in the last minute of the eighth round on Saturday night at the New York Theater. The fight was stopped at 2:33 eighth round of 12 rounds scheduled.

In the first three rounds, Cambosos was an aggressor, trying to get inside with a stitch, and Hitchins opposed him. In the fourth round, Cambosos had Welt under the fights from the eyes of Hitchins. In the fifth round, Hitchins went Cambosos throughout the circle.

In the middle of the point of the sixth round, Cambosos pulled blood out of Hitchin. In the seventh round there was all Hitchins up to the last seconds when Cambososi landed a few blows to Hitchins’s beard. In the last minute of the eighth round, the left hook from Hitchin to the body hurt Cambosos, fell it with forty seconds. Judge Michael Griffin called stopping.

In the main support match, Olympic Medal 2020 and the current IBF International Champion in the Lightweight category Andy Cruz (6-0, 3 ko) impressed by stopping the public lightweight champion Hirora Mishiro (17-2-1, 6 KOS) at 1:13 fifth round of 12 rounds in IBF.

In the first round, they mostly exchanged Jabs with Mishir, an aggressor. In the last seconds he landed in the last seconds to the jaw Cruz. In the second round, Cruz pulled blood out of his mouth early in the round.

In the first three rounds, Dev dominated. In the fourth round, Dev injured Silva with a shot of the body. In the fifth round of the game, Silva dropped there against a higher 4 DeV, who took another circle.

In the sixth and last round, Dev won another round against the heavy Silva.

Super Pero Southpaw Zaquin ‘Zaybop’ Moses (4-0, 3 ko) stopped Carl ‘The Cyclone’ Rogers (3-3) in 1:51 fourth and last rounds.

In the second round, Moses hurt Rogers with his left hook to the body in the circle. Rogers turned south. In the third round, Moses landed half a dozen of irresponsible blows before he lowered 8 counts from Judge Eric Dali. In the fourth and last round Moses lowered Rogers with half a dozen blows. On the rise, Moses was all over him, landing four kicks until the judge had called the stop.

In the late scheduled duel, 2024 heavy Olympic Teremo ‘Tevero’ Teremoan (8-0, 8 ko) knocked Alem ‘Hammer’ Whitfield (9-1, Kos) at 2:28 first round of scheduled 6.
