Jack Draper kept the homemade favorite Gael Monfils in a four -set thriller to reach the third round of the French Open.

British male NO 1 beat the always popular French showman 6-3 4-6 6-3 7-5 to set a fascinating match with Brazilian star Rising Joao Fonsec after his victory over Pierre Herber during the day.

Draper gave up the storm of the fired French crowd and several usual moments of Monfils Magic to show enormous strength in the abolition of the five-set marathon.
