Nottingham Forest moved up to second in the table with a 2-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park in one of four Premier League games on Sunday at 3pm.
Goals from Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White gave Forest victory as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side move two points clear of Arsenal, with the Gunners not yet to play tomorrow.
That capped off a hugely impressive second half of the year for Espirito Santo’s side, who travel to struggling Wolves on January 6.

At the other end of the table, Tyler Dibling scored the first goal of the Ivan Juric era as Southampton took an early lead in their game with Crystal Palace.
However, Trevoh Chalobah equalized on the half-hour mark before Eberechi Eze hit back in the 52nd minute.
The result keeps the Saints rooted to the bottom of the league, while Palace move two points closer to Manchester United in 14th place.
At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs and Wolves played an unforgettable 2-2, and Jorgen Strand Larsen equalized for the visitors in the 87th minute.
Another point on the board.

Hwang Hee-Chan gave Wolves an early lead only for Rodrigo Bentancur and Brennan Johnson to turn the tie on its head before half-time.
Ange Postecoglou’s recent frustrations were compounded when Strand Larsen leveled things with three minutes of the 90 remaining.
A few kilometers away from the city at Craven Cottage, Fulham and Bournemouth also played out a four-goal stalemate.
After an impressive win at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day, Raul Jimenez and Harry Wilson scored for Marco Silva’s side.
But the Cherries fought back every time they fell behind, with Evanilson and Dango Ouatarra earning a point for Andoni Iraola’s side.
