He managed to catch the ball with both hands, but it initially caught on his right hand as he took it while still in motion. There was a moment of uncertainty as it was checked to see if the ball had grazed the ground during the catch. Ultimately, the decision confirmed that Silk had indeed pulled off a spectacular catch with no fouls. Peirson’s 24-run dismissal marked a pivotal point in the game, adding to Brisbane Heat’s woes as they slumped to 72 for three wickets at that stage.

Brisbane Heat are struggling in the first innings
Brisbane Heat faced significant challenges after Silk’s early interventions. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, they struggled to build partnerships.
