Ange Postecoglou believes that the fame of the Europa League will change Tottenham as a club – but the Australian does not know if the Spurs will be competing in the Champions League next season.

Postecoglou will feel a considerable level of revenge after leading the team just above the relegation zone in first -class Return to competition with the European elite, doing good to the promise that he will continue his tendency to win a silver accessories in his second season with clubs.
“I was not afraid to declare my intention,” he explained. “People reminded me of this because there was still a chance, so I was comfortable.
“Great clubs are expecting success because they have had it. We are still building this team – it is very young and we have to add experience. My thought process this year was to build a team that can be successful for five or six years.
“I’m still trying to take over everything. I know what this means for this football club. I know our form of the league was terrible – nowhere well enough and unacceptable.
“But the end of a third did not want to change this football club. The only thing that will change this football club is to win something.”

“The longer it takes, the harder it is to break that cycle,” Postecoglou said. “Until you take off that monkey off your back, you don’t understand what it feels like.”
The Spurs play their last game of the season at home in Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday (16:00 BST).
Postecoglou, whom Australia overwhelmed, spent her entire playing career with South Melbourne between 1978 and 1993 and led the club in her first managerial role from 1996 to 2000.
After seven years as Australia’s coach at the levels of young people, he had spells with the Greek club Panachaiki and the Australian sides of Whittlese Zebras, Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory before governing Australia from 2013 to 2017.
The former defender moved to the Japanese club Yokoham F Marinos to 2021 and the Scottish Giants Celtic until 2023, when he inherited Antonio Conte as a manager of Tottenham.
The double Australian champion as a player, Postecoglou is inclined to win the trophy during his second season in charge of clubs.
Among the extensive list of silver accessories, he won the championship from both of his Australian side, the Australian title three times as a manager and Japanese and Scottish top flights.

Football Australia Hall of Fame Inductede was also named Manager of PFA a decade in Australia in 2015 and won the premier League manager three times during the debut season.
