Manchester City cruised by a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at the Kevin de Bruyne Stadium Etihad Stadium Farewell to put themselves on the edge of the Champions League qualifier.
City did not allow the disappointment of their final defeat of the FA Cup from Crystal Palace, while ensuring that the last home game of De Bruyne was limited by the winning men to the club that transferred the men of Pepa Guardiola to third place and leaves them only a point in Fulham in the last day to be sure of the Champions League.
Omar Marmoush, a sublime hit of 30 yards, put the city on the road in the 14th minute and, after confusing a miss from De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva made 2-0 seven minutes before halftime.
In the second half he was a red card for each side, as Mateo Kovacic was fired in the 67th minute before Lewis Cook followed him a series of tunnel six minutes later.
City managed to celebrate Rodri’s return from an ACL injury as he got off the bench, and Nico Gonzalez took a routine victory in the 89th minute. The effort of stopping Daniel Jebbison was a scarce comfort for the Bournemouth team whose hopes in European football have now been over.
The city started Jarko as Kovacic slid while shot from a long range, and Matheus Nunes was suffocated by Kep Arizabalaga before he could pull the trigger.
Still, there was no one who would prevent Marmoush from letting the flight by shooting, who was viciously immersed toward the upper left corner and flew from his position.
The Drvenica was a friend’s friend because it helped to do it on the way, but De Bruyne cursed his luck when he somehow hit the bottom of the bar from the empty span of the empty part, and the goal pulled out of Marmoush’s return.
Fortune, however, smiled at the city, while Evalilson hit a place at the other end after an excellent buildup involving Dean Huisen and Marcus Tavernier Real Madrid, and Bournemouth got the mountain to climb soon.
The failure of the cherry to clean their lines is ruthlessly punished while Ilkay Gundogan recovered from a bad touch to direct the ball in Bernard’s path to slide home for a second.
Kepa then was supposed to produce an instinctive reaction reaction to prevent Gundoganov rejected effort of long range shortly before halftime.
The city was cruising in the second half, although Bournemouth Nadi seemed to be given when Kovacic was sent for the descent of Evanilson as he looked like he would move on to the stray pass and go through the goal.
The dismissal prompted the diverting of Pep Guardiola, which included replacement of De Bruyne on the enchanting permanent standing ovation, but Bournemouth’s advantage evaporated as Cook saw red.
Cook got a portion of the ball with Gonzalez in his challenge, but followed the high on the lower leg, he left Thomas Bramalla without choice than to bring him his march commands.
This ended with any thought of a return and, after Rodroda replaced Haalanda for his first appearance in almost eight months until a tumultuous approval, Gonzalez bent great beyond the Kepe.
Jebbison ran into a defensive mistake to make him flatter him for Bournemouth with a nearly last shot in the night in which their efforts to spoil De Bruyne’s party proved to be weak.
