According to the Sunday Mirror report (H/T Leedspress), Leeds is eager for St. Gallen, who has 17 goals in all competitions this season.
Leeds were associated with Geubbels A few months ago.
It’s no secret that Leeds United needs a quality striker in the summer, and they were associated with players like Jamie Vardy and Calum Wilson.
They need a reliable scorer naked who will lead a line in the Premier League next year, and Geubbels could prove to be a quality supplement. The French striker will be tempted to move to the Premier League, and Leeds could be an exciting opportunity for him.
They have provided promotion to the Premier League, but now they need to focus on survival in the Premier League. Leeds will not want to lower the next season, and they will want to establish themselves as the Premier League monks.
Geubbels could surely help them improve forward. He showed his ability in French football, and the Premier League has both a physical and technical trait. The opportunity to move to Leeds could be exciting for him. The player allegedly has a release clause in the amount of £ 4.6 million in his contract, and Leeds certainly has a financial muscle to arrange a job.
The agreement could prove to be the main offer for the newly promoted side if the player manages to hit the terrain in the Premier League. The 23-year-old is still quite young, and he will only improve with coaching experience. He could have established himself as a Leeds player in the long run.
Signing for the nominal amount of money would allow Leeds to improve other areas of its team. It remains to be seen whether they can arrange a job over the line.
