Ajax coach Francesco Farioli resigned after the capitulation at the end of the season, which PSV Eindhoven handed over to the title of Eredivisie.
Amsterdammeri held a nine-point lead at the top of the table with only five games that went just to suffer a series without a four games that opened the PSV door.
It was a disappointing end of the fine season because Ajax improved last season of the fifth end, and Fariooli earned a plenty of praise in his first year.

Farioli walks after disagreements with the board
But now he has decided to leave, stating “differences in the principles and foundations of the project”.
He said, “My trip to Ajax began almost a year ago, in De Toekost, with the aim of returning Ajax where he belongs. And ended up in the Johan Cruijff Arena, finally returning Ajax to the Champions League, the biggest phase of European football. We wanted to bring a new energy with the Ajax community, and all working levels.
“Since the first non-Netherlands coach of Ajax have since 1998 and the first Italian club was an absolute privilege: together with my staff, we accepted this tremendous challenge with respect, responsibility, passion and determination to succeed. Earning respect and support from Ajax fans, we felt throughout the season, which was for independent, ASSENTED: ACITLEVABLE: Acitlevable: Acident Exentitable, and Adsentvable, and overall, has been ascended, and all -in -law has been, what is independent, and all that is, what is independent.
“The administration and I have the same goals for the future of Ajax, but we have different visions and time frameworks about the way we should work and act to achieve these goals. Given these differences in the principles and foundations of the project, I feel deep in my heart that this is the best moment to share.”
Kroes greets with Fariooli
Ajax will now go in search to find the heir.
Club Technical Director Alex Kroes said: “I think this is incredibly disappointing. Francesco and his staff are of great help to us. It was an intense season filled with many unforgettable moments, and we achieved our goal: the Champions League qualifications next season.
“Francesco also played a key role in improving high -performance culture in Ajax, for which we are extremely grateful. This summer has already been a challenging transfer, and now it has become even more. We have to ensure that a strong new coaching team begins when the pre -season preparations start on June 26.”
