West Ham United was signed by Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow in 2021, but they have not yet cleared payments for transfer.
The hammers agreed with a 26 million pound contract for the signing of the Croatian international striker, but the CSKA CEO, Roman Babaev, has now discovered that West Ham has yet to be completed.
The hammers owe another £ 13.5 million to Russian giants. The 27-year-old is now playing for the Italian club Turin.
Russian clothing has joined the arbitration court for sports in connection with payments, but the verdict has been pushed, and two clubs have not been able to achieve a compromise so far.
“The case was re -delayed. We’re waiting for literally a month,” Babaev said Tas. “I hope we will finally get a decision (soon). West Ham did not communicate with us.
“They ignore us.”
CSKA CEO has now discovered to target a meeting with West Ham at the end of this month. It will be interesting to see if the two parties can compromise in the coming weeks.
“No decisions from CAS,” Babaev said. “We are targeting the end of May to meet with West Ham.”
In the meantime, a report from Sport ru He claims that West Ham could hand over a ban on the transfer if they do not complete the unspecified payment of the transfer before July 31.
West Ham will surely want to avoid such a situation. They have to improve the team during the summer laptop, and the ban on signing players could be a devastating blow for them. It was a disappointing season for them and they need to sign quality players to bounce strongly.
It remains to be seen whether they can solve the situation with CSKA Moscow in the coming weeks.
