Luke Littler has told fans he is fit and refreshed to face Ian White in the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship on Saturday.
In a post hours before returning to action after a week’s layoff, Littler described his Christmas festivities as “quality”.
“Now it’s time to get back at it,” added the 17-year-old, who is the bookies’ favorite for the title behind defending champion Luke Humphries.

Becoming the first darts player to surpass one million followers on Instagram, Littler now has more than 1.4 million fans on the platform.
The sports sensation posted a photo on Tuesday of himself taking part in a special edition of the acclaimed darts TV show Bullseye.
Promoting the episode, which aired on Christmas Day, Littler appeared on screen alongside former England cricketer Freddie Flintoff.
“Never enough darts on TV, that’s for sure,” he said. “Loved being a part of the Bullseye Christmas campaign… Merry Christmas everyone.”

Littler’s showdown with White, who is a big underdog, is expected to start after 21:30 GMT on Saturday 28 December 2024.
The 54-year-old world number 57 claims he regularly beat Littler’s grandfather, Phil, during his early days in the sport in Runcorn, where Littler was born.
World number 15 Chris Dobey takes on opponent three places below him, Josh Rock, in the first match of the evening session at London’s Alexandra Palace, which kicks off at 7pm.
Three-time champion Michael van Gerwen takes center stage just ahead of Littler and White, taking on Brendan Dolan.
On December 21, Littler beat fellow Englishman Ryan Meikle 3-1 to reach this stage of the tournament.
