What forced BCCI to do the revised IPL 2025 schedule?

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 was suspended on May 9th for a week, and in the official announcement, the Committee for Crowns Control in India (BCCI) mentioned that the details of the new place and new dates would be announced soon.

This happened the day after the 58th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) on Thursday, May 8, at the Himachal Pradesh Cricsket Association Stadium in Dharamsa after only 10.1 additions.

The match was interrupted because Pakistan launched a cowardly attack on several Indian cities, including Pathankot, which is only 90 km away from Dhararamsala stadium. A darkening was carried out in the city, and players, as well as a bunch, were evacuated from the stadium.

Significantly, the cross -border tensions between India and Pakistan were created after Pakistani terrorists attacked tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 innocent people, and India launched Operation Singoor to take revenge on lost lives by destroying nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan.

Will foreign players return to IPL 2025?

As an audited IPL 2025 schedule has been announced, the biggest concern is currently related to the return of foreign players, who have already left India.

After the suspension was announced, most foreign players decided to travel to their home countries, while there were some players who decided to extend their stay in India.

Star star players in Australian cries like Mitchell Starc and Josha Hazlewood will reportedly not return to the Indian Premier League 2025, and the other Aussie Crket will also not be under pressure to participate in the rest of the competition, as Crickket Australia offered to defend them if they did not decide not to go to India.

Significantly, BCCI is powerless in this situation because they cannot take any actions on the players who skip the IPL 2025, because the contract clause for more forces utters individuals/parties from fulfilling their contracts in the event of an extraordinary event beyond their control.
