Conor Benn opens the doors of Manny Pacquiao Fight if not Chris Eubank Jr Revan and reveals ‘Rookie Error’ in the First Fight | Boxing news

Conor Benn suggested that he can fight Manny Pacquiao the next if a rematch with Chris Eubank JR does not achieve.

Benn was beaten last month in a brutal, 12-round battle at Tottenham Hotspur Stadiumwith EUBANK JR with a unanimous decision.

Immediately after that competition, Benn insisted that he wanted “revenge”, and while the 28-year-old was still eager for another shooting, he insisted that he had abundant opportunities that could even include the acceptance of the Pacquiao Filipin legend.

EUBANK JR requested a dramatic victory over Benn in the fight in which they both both hurt because of an extremely fun 12 rounds

Speaking Heavenly sports’ Craig Slater from the GP Miami, Benn said: “He was sought (EUBANK JR) removal. It is very rare to fight that size and people want a rematch.

“I think the loss was controversial, he could in any direction.

After the fight, Benn said he would ‘love a rematch’

“But we all have options. I could fight Rolly Romera, who just won the WBA world title. I could fight Mario Barrios for the WBC World Title.”

Asked if I can include these options with a 46-year-old Pacquiao, who will get out of retirement this summer to deal with Barrios for the WBC Welterweight title, Benn said: “He has passed his date, but still legend is one of the greatest time-no matter or, there are or, there are options.

“I am 28 years young. We are now in different spectrums of our career. It’s almost over, I’m just starting.”

Benn vowed to bring out a quick punishment of EUBANK JR before seeing the judges rule against him 116-112.

But he said that the messages of the support he received about the outcome were a bit of comfort, admitting that he made a “rookie error” on the night.

He said, “It was so close and I’m disappointed that I let the altercation be so close, because when I say something, I think completely. So, when I said I would get him out in four rounds, I completely believed I would. The fact that the fight was as close as possible, I felt like I lost anyway.

“There were many times when I saw his legs fluttering; I just couldn’t get the finish. He bent down and kept well.

“But next time there will be a lot less emotions. I fought with a lot of emotions, entering there trying to take my head off, not focusing on the things I know I should do there. The rookie mistake.”
