Howe pleased with a point after a penalty kick

Howe pleased with the draw

Howe told Sky Sports: “It’s probably a good point for us, even though we came here to win. Our final passage and cross were probably not at the finest level.

“We were very disappointed as we admitted. We made enough to justify the point, if not more. I thought we were trying to win the game. Brighton was a difficult stop team. We persecuted the game with intelligence and eventually got a prize.”

Diego Gomez and Callum Wilson had a great chance of winning it for their part in the time of injury, but they were divided by the prey.

“We went for what I think we have to do in our position and I am proud of how we fought in the game,” Howe added, whose side must play Chelsea, Everton and Arsenal in the last three games.

Hurzeler nervous because of SLOPPY Brighton

Brighton’s chief Fabian Hurzeler was not happy on his part, and the draw made little for hopes in the Selbi to qualify for Europe.

He said, “I have a mixture of feelings. I am proud of holding myself together, but it was not our perfect match in possession. All in all, there is a mixture of feelings, but we try to deprive positive results.

“We confessed to a cheap punishment. We have to accept it and try to get out best. I saw a good team performance even though we made some light mistakes and we couldn’t control the game the way we wanted.”
