One of the priorities for Man City during this summer laptop is to replace Kevin De Bruyne’s departure, and although multiple goals have been identified, one is currently standing out among other things.
De Bruyne announced earlier this year that he would leave MAN City after 10 trophy years, and although Pep Guardiola already has at his disposal Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva and James McATae, there is a desire to bring a specialist attacker.
Florian Wirtz, James Maddison and Morgan Gibbs-White are associated with summer moves in Etihad, but at this stage, The latter is that Man City chiefs are the most interested in. And forbidding any changes, a considerable effort will be made to sign him from Nottingham Forest.
In a tweed published on XFabrizio Romano confirmed that Man City is ready to increase his interest in Gibbs-White, and talks are expected to take place in the coming weeks.
“Manchester City plans to progress to Morgan Gibbs-White with a contract in the coming weeks, as one of the priority goals remains. There are no problems in the personal sense, but they work with Nottingham Forest because they are still hoping to keep MGW.”
It is not surprising that Forest wants to keep Gibbs-White, who was one of their best players this season. While the Champions League qualification insurance could help their offer, it may not be enough because Man City almost certainly played in the competition next season.
It remains to be seen that the future Gibbs-White is playing, but it is clear that Man City wants to sign him this summer. Forest will surely interrupt his work, trying to convince him to stay on the city ground.
