President Biden denounced Russia’s latest attack on Ukraine on Wednesday, calling the wave of missiles and drones “outrageous.”
“The goal of this outrageous attack was to cut off the Ukrainian people’s access to heat and electricity during the winter and jeopardize the security of their grid,” Biden said in a statement.
“Let me be clear: the Ukrainian people deserve to live in peace and security, and the United States and the international community must continue to stand by Ukraine until it triumphs over Russia’s aggression,” he added.
Russia, early Wednesday, launched an attack on Ukraine’s energy supply and infrastructure with 78 surface-to-air and surface-to-surface missiles and 106 Shahed drones. the air force of Ukraine said. The blows damaged the equipment and caused power outages.

“I have directed the Department of Defense to continue its increased arms deliveries to Ukraine, and the United States will continue to work tirelessly to strengthen Ukraine’s defense posture against Russian forces.”
President-elect Trump, meanwhile, has long criticized US aid to Ukraine. He has supported the idea of an agreement between Kiev and Moscow and has pledged to end the conflict quickly.
