Gabe Rosado believes Jose Ramirez “The wrong choice ” To get Devin Haney back in his first fight in more than a year, collapsing from a bad loss from Ryan Garcia on April 20th.
Rosado considers that former WBC champion and WBO Light Welterweight Ramirez (29-2, 18 ko) are still fighting at a high level, despite his unanimous loss from Arnold Barboz Jr.
Haney (31-0, 15 ko) will fight Ramirez (32) in confronting Ryan Garcia Vs. Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero Undercard on May 2. At Times Square, New York. The event will be displayed He lives on a given PPV for $ 59.99.
What Gabe doubts Haney is his confidence. He thinks his confidence is gone because of the way Ryan beat him. He says such a loss could be confused with his mind.
“I think Haney is a better fighter on paper, but Ramirez is the wrong choice to come back. I feel like Ramirez is strong, strong and descending from the fight with Barboz, did not look awful and did not win badly,” Gabe Rosado told HUB TV fights O Devin Haney Vs. Jose Ramirez fights on May 2 at Times Square, New York.
Trust in Devin
Surprisingly, Bill Haney agreed to the choice of Jose Ramirez as Devin’s opponent, because it is not a typical opponent to whom he gave the green light. Bill was careful in choosing opposition to Devin. When he fought against good opposition, it was always with a little advantage over them.
For example, when Haney fought Vasily Lomachenko, he looked two divisions heavier inside the ring and was much younger. The break was 35 when he fought against Devin and competed with three divisions above his natural weight in Pero.
Bill certainly had no other choice, but that Devin would fight against Jose Ramirez to get a big pay day to fight the Fary Fury card on May 2. In the main event between Ryan Garci and Roland ‘Rolly’ Romera, there was already a mismatch between Ryan Garcia. So, compassion for Haney had to be competitive 50-50, because fans would not be interested in buying events if all three struggles were leaning in favor of a A-strand fighter against Ham & Eggers.
“I believe it was the perfect style for him to reconsider what he was wrong and made adaptations in the fight with Haney. I think he has to adapt, and then we had to see where Haney’s mind was if his confidence was even,” Rosado said.
“Because one thing is to look good and be grated, but where is confidence. It never hurt me like Haney, but I can only imagine what makes it a fighter’s confidence. So Haney can show us that he is a special fighter. So this is his opportunity to show us:” I am that dud. “So, if he does, my hat is not him,” Gabe said.
