West Ham has been fighting in the attack this season, but for one pundit, there is a proposal that the main coach of Graham Potter could independently impose it, who found a pretty brave invitation on Saturday in Southampton during Saturday’s disappointed draw.
In recent years, West Ham has struggled to recruit a fertile striker. The Niclas Fullkur was signed from Borussia Dortmund last summer, but he has been much weaker since his arrival, and this has often led to Jarrod Bowen and Mohamed Kudus more central.
Evan Ferguson was signed on loan from Brighton in January as a possible solution to a problem, but now it is clear that Potter does not see him as Potter.

Per West ham zoneSky Sports Pundit Michael Dawson was confused by Potter’s decision not to make Ferguson for Fullkurg, which was replaced instead by midfielder Tomas Soucek.
“The Niclas Fullkur has come down, and you would think that Evan Ferguson will be brought in – just like a direct replacement. No. Tomas Soucek is coming. And I think that’s all about Evan Ferguson at West Ham.”
It was a difficult season for Ferguson. He struggled to break into the Brighton team during the first half of the campaign, which encouraged the move to West Ham during the winter. But that turned out equally unsuccessful.
Ferguson will surely return to Brighton at the end of the season, at which time it will be interesting to see what happens to him – that could be Leeds United, who were associated with signing. He was considered one of the best attackers in the Premier League as recently as a 2023-24 campaign, but that title is certainly not the one he can currently maintain, but the time is on his side.
