The Carlos Adames WBC champion reacted to the social media on the promoter Eddie Hearna, claiming last Saturday night that Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis will win “everything” at 147, 154 and 160.

Adames (24-1-1, 18 ko) posted on X, giving his followers that they knew it was not like a “TV series” in which, after one victory, you can beat everything. Hearn spoke crazy last Saturday after his fighter, champion IBF Welterweight Boots Ennis (34-0, 30 KO), knocked out WBA champion Eimantas Stanionis (15-1, 9 KOS) in the sixth round in the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
“The boots do not lose at 147, do not lose 154, do not lose in 160. Be careful what he does in the next few years; he goes through all the divisions,” Promotor Eddie Hearn said in the media last Saturday night after Jaron’s’ Boots’ Ennis’ win over Eimantas Stanionis.
Hearn concluded from that victory over unverified Stanionis, who never beat any notable opposition in his 15-year career that Ennis would be a world champion in three divisions and #1 pound per kilogram.
How can fans buy in what Hearn sells when Boots did not want to fight the temporary champion of the 154 LB Vergil Ortiz Jr. For a high salary career on Turki’s card 22. February in Riyadh? Ennis allegedly rejected BIG Bucks to fight Ortiz Jr. -a for low unification of the match against cellation, which is raised into its status of WBA Super Champ outside the ring. He was raised like boots with his IBF title.
If Hearn really believes that Ennis can beat all top dogs with 154 and 160, why not set up a fight between him and Carlos Adames? This is a struggle that he would probably easily agree if Hearn offered him real money. Would Adames accept $ 1.8 million to fight Ennis?
The world changes. We have a ‘champion’ who is only brave because of X. Then I read about someone who can allegedly beat everything after one victory with 154 and 160 as if it were a TV series. Enough already.
