Ianis Hagi dreams of the glory of Europa League as the rangers are preparing to deal with Athletic Club in a quarterfinal’s second leg on Thursday.
Despite playing more than 80 minutes of first legs with 10 men, Rangers dug to earn a 0-0 draw in Ibrox and are now three games away from the second European finals in three years.
The Romanian international insists that his priority “is to put his body on the line” for the club in the midst of uncertainty about his future, and his contract expired at the end of this season.

“I think we can all agree that they are publicly, a richest in a situation where so many things happen behind the scenes, important things, important changes,” Hagi said Sky Sports News.
“I think the right time will come, but at the moment everyone is engaged on Thursday, especially me.
“It’s such a big moment to get it and finish the season at high. I don’t think my future is a priority for anyone, even for myself.
“The priority is to win Thursday, enter the semi -finals, put your body on the line for this football club and see where it brings me and where it brings it to Rangers.

“I’m in this special club. I have everything around me at the highest level. I just enjoy it every day.
“You never know when this can stop this. I want to feel it because I dreamed of it, be at the club at this level. I take it day by day and I’m happy. We’ll see where it brings me and the club.
“I will keep the door open to European glory, no matter how my future lies or at what point it comes.
“As a football player, you dream of winning European trophies, not only homemade. Since it’s close to winning, you have other strong seasons in Europe, you feel like you are close. We hope we will be able to reach out this season.”
The 26-year-old missed Rangers’ victory to the Europa 2022 League final due to injury, but played a key role in the group stage.

“Why not?” Added the midfielder.
“We want to bring back something to fans and this is the only competition that we can still win, so we are fully focused on it.
“90 minutes, 120 minutes, a penalty kick, it doesn’t really matter how. It is only important to just go through the circle and be at halftime because we all want to return to Ibrox to another European Night.
“You just have to keep a balanced way of thinking, but at the same time, believe in yourself and believe in the power that this football club has at this level of football, especially in this competition.
“We will definitely bring our experience from past seasons, but I think it’s a completely different game and it’s going to be a tough game next Thursday. We look forward to it.
“I think that season (2021/22.) Everyone had a moment while running. I think this season too. I hope that now, I can stay until the end and finish the victory at all this time.
“It’s the only competition that we still can win, so why not? It will be a great opportunity, but I don’t want to be too much ahead of the game.
