Howe is “in the best possible hands,” says Assistant Tindall

Newcastle United says that the manager of Eddie Howe is “in the best possible hands” while recovering from pneumonia in the hospital.

Howe, 47, missed Sunday 4-1 Winning against Manchester United And he will also miss the game on Wednesday in his hand against Crystal Palace, without giving to return.

“We shared several text messages yesterday. The most important thing for the manager is now to rest and recover and probably not worry too much about anything else, except that it is ensured that it is recovering as quickly as possible.

“I hope we can have it here as soon as possible, but only when he is 100% right.”

Tindall said, “We are not thinking about anything else but the preparations for tomorrow night to give performance we know we need to provide to be good enough to win the game.

“We know that Crystal Palace is in a fantastic form. Saturday was just their second defeat on the road to 15 games. They didn’t receive too many goals. It will be really a difficult challenge for us. They are a dangerous side.

“But if we can go out and deliver performances like a weekend, we hope it will go a long way to help us get the points we want.”
