Napoli cut Inter -O’s series a leadership

Napoli cut Inter Milan’s lead at the top of Serie A on three points with a 3-0 win over Empoli’s threatening outburst.

Former Manchester United pair Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku scored goals, and Lukaku hit on both sides of the Scottish midfielder, a double player McTominaya.

Second-placed Napoli felt pressure after Inter win 3-1 against Cagliari on Saturday, but, at six rounds, they closed.

He scored the first goal as Lukaka fought freely in the middle of the field and crossed to the application of McTominay, whose low long range hit bounced over the outstretched hands of Empoli Devis Vasquez and the corner of the net.

Belgian Lukaku added his name on the list perfectly through the ball inside the box before McTominay headed to the whipped cream from Lukaku on the bottom of the bar.

Athletico keep up with city rivals

In Spain, Atletico Madrid’s weak aspirations remain alive after winning Laliga of 4-2 over Real Valladolid.

Diego Simeone men started the day 10 points behind Barcelona leaders and it looked like they would turn out to be points when Mamadou Sylla put Valladolid in front of 21 minutes.

Two goals in three first -half minutes, Julian Alvarez penalty and the effort 27. The minute of Giuliano Simeone, Atletico returned to the trip, but they returned in 56 minutes played by Java Sanchez.

The hosts, however, ended up strongly because Alvarez scored another blow before Alexander Sorloth made points for a safe 11 minutes.
