Paris St-Germain chief Luis Enrique says his side are ready to suffer in Aston Villa, while watching to see with the Premier League in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Ligue 1 champions travel to Villa Park with 3-1 advantage from last week’s first leg In Paris and heavy favorites for progress up to the last four.
Villa – managed by former Villa Uno Emery chief – is undefeated in 17 games at all competitions on home soil, but Enrique says the atmosphere of Villa Park will not scare her side.
“It is always a pleasure to play and compete in a stadium like this, with so many history,” Enrique said.
“We love to play football. Our teams and fans are used to it. It will be a big game, there is certainly no problem with the atmosphere. It’s motivation, more than anything.”

PSG was great last week, because in the last 16 years they beat Liverpool, and many have become a favorite to finally abolish the trophy this season.
But Emery expects a heavy test in western Midlands.
“The statement is not over, it’s still open. It will be difficult,” Emery said. “We are ready to suffer if necessary to reach our goal and win this match.
“At the end of the match in the semifinals, there will be only one team and the other team is out there. It’s the beauty of the competition.
“Aston Villa is down right now, but the tie remains very open, and both teams know. There is no exaggerated belief in our side, we have received motivation to overcome the problems that Aston Villa can set and achieve our goal of winning in the match.
“When people talk about favorites before the game … The Champions League path is full of favorites that were knocked out. We knew we were better and deserved to win in the first part, but there is another story. Who will win tomorrow?
“We have an advantage, but we do not speculate on security. If Aston Villa are better than us, they can overcome us, so we must show that we deserve to be in the semifinals.”
