Hearn’s headache: Shakur Twitterson retreat again? Speaking of Turks not Zepedi

Per Frank Bay: Shakur Twitteron is boring, in the ring beyond. Let me say that the relationship between professional sports and fans is reciprocal. Sometimes athletes and owners/promoters forget this aspect. I don’t mind paying for events.

If this is NFL seasonal passage or main boxing PPV, I will open my wallet even against better judgment. Yes, I’m easily inherited, but I’m not anyone’s fool. I’ll watch Canelo Alvarez fight on Cinco de Mayo, but I’m not paying that. No, I won’t steal it. I will most likely watch him with friends and family because it’s a traditional boxer weekend.

When it comes to sports, I have my limits to what I will be recorded for. When I go through the NFL season or go to a baseball game, I get what I pay. The price does not matter, and yet I refuse to pay regularly for a bad product. When the teams are bad, the owners do not reduce prices to reflect the fans’ investment.

No, instead, they increase the price for parking. Because of this, NFL and MLB teams, at least for optics, win stress. When the team wins, fans are ready to take another mortgage for seasonal cards. Fans are boobs and count me in that group. But when it comes to boxing and using Shakur Stevenson as an example, it becomes painful that it can only be able to see only a one -way relationship.

Boxing expects you to pay without giving you what you want. They give you the opposite (ie Josh Padley Vs. Stevenson) and expect you want to pay even more for the next event. This creates the effect of cunning. Fighters expect the same.

Turkish alalshikh aka John

Turks Alalshikh learns a difficult way about boxing. On my Podcast last year, I predicted that Turks would see that throwing cash as if at a strip club, it would not be enough to control boxer games.

The shades and quarrels deep in boxing cannot be controlled or eradicated by a man with money who wants to rule an iron fist. Boxers are more similar to actors than athletes because, like actors, boxers can choose their roles, ie their destiny. Contrary to belief, boxers do not choose fights just on the basis of money.

In the time of social media, Eri after the Mayweather money, fighters are much more encouraged by perception. Just look at what happened to former Mayweather clone Devin Haney. Take a look at the only fighter so far so that he does not kiss the ring of his excellency, sometimes a impermeable tank Davis after one misconception. As they say, perception is a reality.

Shakur, who called himself Twitteron, is facing a intersection, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Shakur Stevenson sitting in the foreseeable future. Before Stevenson left Top Rang, it was announced that he was disturbed by Top Rank refused to feed Lomachenko or Navarrete. The best rank stood at work.

After his departure, Stevenson was appropriately left out that his highest rank would be happy to serve fracture and or Navarrete, that he signed with them again. Common sense would tell Twitterson that Top Rank should have been able to replace a star like Frame Shakur because it is very likely that he would beat the veteran who is old.

I’m not sure how misconceptions or misconceptions of Stevenson is to think that Top Rank will apply to give him a break and Lomachenko’s belt, just to see him leave them as if they were pregnant for 7 months.

Top Rank and Good Riddance

Fast forward, and Shakur signed with Hearan, who collaborated closely with Turks. Hearn signed Shakur with agreements. Hearn met Shakura and shook hands. Shakuru was said to be expected. Shakur claimed he wanted big fighting.

Now he was in a position with the people who could do so, or we thought so. As for the caution what you want, Shakur Stevenson has received his commands to fight and now AWOL has left. When the fighters talk about how the fighting business goes, the promoter offers fighters a list of possible opponents.

Then the fighter and his team were made to choose from the given options. Each struggle involves the risk option over the reward. The fighter must choose or be forced to sit. If a fighter rejects a fight that is in line with contractual obligations, then the promoter may make a fighter sit.

The contract operates in both directions. The promoter must fulfill the obligation, for example, giving his fighter 3 fights in a particular time frame. When there is a problem, the fighter has about two options. The options we saw how Mikey Garcia and Andre Ward’s fighters use to mind.

One fights for legal exit, which can cost more money than it is worth or sitting and waiting until the contract expires. Teofimo recently tried to get out of his contract with Harvard City and former lawyer Bob Arum.

The claim was that Teo did not owe the last fight of Top Rank. The top rank opposed, claiming that Teo decided to refuse the date of the fight, and therefore were right to sit him. In the end, they solved their questions, which is one of the ways it works. If the Turks did not come and save Teofimo, he would still sit aside.

Will Stevenson suffer the same fate? I am ready to bet so that he would not mind that Saturday, especially if WBC allows him to withdraw Jermall Charlo and let him be a champion without a fight for years. Remember, Shakur Stevenson has already threw Hitsy Fit and withdrew in the midst of his dissatisfaction with the top rank.

The Turks never imagined that his Leopard would eat his face. Not one year and Tyson Fury withdraws from him without fighting Anthony Joshua, Jaron Ennis refuses a significant fight, and now Stevenson tells him thank you, no thanks. Even worse than that, after being paid beautiful to sign with Hearn and pay much more money than he deserved not to fight the part -time electrician Padley on the base, he turns and bites his hands that feeds him and his promoter. A very short -sighted action if you ask me.

Once fool me, shame on you

I consider myself a man of betting and I am ready to bet that the script has played something like this: Turks told Shakur that he would pay him honestly. Shakur was then supposed to start twisting the narrative by leaving an important context. He claims that the Turks returned to their word.

Shakur accused Turks of promising him a certain amount of money to fight William Zeped. Yet, when he was offered, it was much less than what was promised first, and he broke down accordingly. That sounds reasonable and most likely happening in boxing all the time. I mean, this is called a negotiation for a reason.

But let me tell you something, in the word wise: when it comes to negotiations, and especially boxing negotiations, after becoming viral, that is, someone negotiating in public, on Twitter no less, then it’s over. That won’t happen.

All Shakur tries to do with a conversation on social media means being the first so that he can twist and turn a social narrative to spin him in his advantage. His only hope is to gain enough foolish cheerleading support to heal his fragile ego. The little social support he currently receives from his sikofates is enough to feed his narcissism. The others see it for what is: a massive duck

I suppose Turki Ali said to Shakur, “Look, Shakur, I know that the money I offer to Zeped is less than originally intended, but this is because I kindly reward you for the inconvenience of fighting late replacement and mass -over -repayment for Padley.

The numbers will show that I am more than generous in the new offer. “As you can see, the Turks looked at the numbers and saw what anyone could see about Twitterson, that it was not worth it. His attitude and reaction to Turki’s generosity only prove it further.

The Turks, like me, is a fool, but he is not anyone’s ass. From Turkish’s point of view, he fulfills his promises and obligations with Shakur. The way he overpaid for Padley against better judgment, but he did it to make him happy, do him a favor and keep him active.

Now, Turks, thinking she will get the same reasonable reciprocal decision, remains as if a side piece that Shakur can throw. Shakur seems to intend to burn another bridge as if there are hundreds more in boxing.

What the Turks offers is almost the same amount of money for two fights. He realizes that he overpaid the fight against Padley, so he wants to diminish a blow to the back. Is it less than fair? I do not claim that in reality, when we as fans realize that the Turks have done him a favor, paying him a lot more than he is primarily worth.

Fans left holding the bag

Fans have been wanting to fight Zeped VS Shakur for over a year. As I spoke earlier about boxing, giving us what we want, we were just witnessing that smoke smoke. Zepeda, at one point, is accused of duck, but I think he is sure to assume that he will no longer blame.

In a little comedy, I see his sikofants try to twist the narrative mental gymnastics and find a way to accuse Zeped and de la Hoya of being real ducks. One narrative spin is to fight the reward and it is a ‘bag’. Therefore, Shakur is not a duck and is a smart businessman.

But where I see how fantastic hypocrisy is that they are the same fans who Bash Canelo Alvares and any other fighter does the same. Alvarez is the main public enemy for wise selection and taking $ 100 million for William Scull.

However, you will hear a lot of praise for Shakur to do the same thing without the same recognition or massive base on the fan to which you will return. When Floyd Mayweather reached his “bag” phase, he already had recognitions and a built -in fan base.

In my opinion, this was a short -sighted, self -suite move. Canelo can turn anyone he wants because someone is willing to pay him to do so. Shakur has no other character with Turks in the back pocket to save him and pay to fight another exfoliation.

Shakur pushed himself because I no longer see anyone the more he pays him big money. He will not be paid for soft touches and will not get big names and money he requires because everyone sees that there is no possibility.

Shakur and his team succeeded in Turks and the hope of Hearn, who must be between the rock and the hard place, scratching his head about what to do with him. But while the Turks can wash their hands with Ingrate, Hearn is stuck with this Albatros.

In the end, the fans remain holding the bag. We allowed Shakur to get so far away without holding him responsibly. Many fans are on the side of their narrative that everyone burned him.

People accepted the struggle with Padley because Scholfield draws is not guilty, and we got Zeped. But this seems to be the last straw before his unwavering fans no longer pay his struggles.
