Jake Paul has discovered today that Anthony Joshua called him, and they agreed to fight in 2026. Former double heavyweight champion Joshua (28-4, 25 ko) wants to fight Jake (11-1, 7 ko), which would create more interest in the career of a British fighter than any other available options with other heavy weights.
Joshua waited for Tyson Fury to get out of retirement because that fight would be massive all over the world. However, it doesn’t seem to happen. Jake Paul is easily the next fight of Joshua and that can happen. Paul is ambitious and will fight.
Jake, 28, comes from an impressive decision in eight rounds over Mike Tyson on November 15th in the fight that was shown live on Netflix and created great interest. Joshua wants to get into action to be part of the fight with the extremely popular YouTuber boxes of Jake.
Paul says he talked to Is Gervont Davis about the fight. They are planning to fight after the tank faces Lamont Roach in the rematch on June 21. It will be interesting to see how Tank and Paul agree on the weight to fight because there is a big difference in size. Davis fights in a lightweight category 135, and Jake is fighting in a heavy category. You will need some kind of catch for that fight to make Fer for both fighters.
“We’ll plan that for 2026. I talked to Anthony’s phone. He called me and said,” I saw you call me “and said,” Let’s start. Let that happen, “said Jake Paul to The Media They talked about him and Anthony Joshua about the fight next year.
“This was about the negotiations and almost ready to happen, but he has to make his rematch with Lamont (Roach) and get that W, and then we will be able to bring him back,” Jake said about a conversation with Gervont Davis for fighting. “Me and Gervont were to fight for sure.”
