Pack those bags! And trust me, it’s time to use something other than the old stuff that was handed to you when you went to college. Learn from my mistake: I’ve had the bottom of my full roller, including one of the wheels, break mid-airport to destination. Luckily for me there was a Disney Store nearby to pick up something at a bargain price—and lucky for you, these days there’s a new season of fandom-inspired shopping.

From the clever The bad guy come down to you-good-hope-there’s-no-Imperial-Scout-around Star Wars collection, here are some things to consider ordering if your property is on its last leg—er, wheel.

By walking

Arriving at your chosen leisure or entertainment destination can be a hassle, especially if you’re easily distracted at the airport or in the crowd. Make sure you have a song, podcast, or book to read!

Going prepared

Having the right things can make or break a trip. With a number of theme parks using their online queues or offering expensive multi-attraction passes to minimize wait times, it really depends on your phone and your patience.

Especially at Disney Parks, always pay attention to when the ride lines cross and the Lightning Trails are up to be accessible. It’s all first-come, first-served, and with several attractions still a hot ticket, you’ll want to get free or paid deals as soon as possible.

Either way it’s a battery drain. I can’t stress enough: get a separate camera and batteries for photos and videos, don’t put too much on one device.

When it comes to planning your own meals, parks offer plenty of food—but mobile ordering can be your best bet, especially if you’re on a limited budget. Making sure you eat them is just as important as feeding them. It’s the same idea as putting on an oxygen mask first, and remember: ABS. Always. Stay. Eating in the mouth. (And hydrating!)

  • For phone charging, Casetify has several power banks for fandom to check integration The bad guy and Disney
  • Hydration is the key, and there is a Liquid IV flavor for everyone. I like to have a lemon-lime shot at the beginning and end of most of my days at the museum.
  • For families with small children, I cannot stress enough how helpful a bottle warmer is, especially Ember Child. It’s a hockey stick that heats bottles on the go without any hassles or distractions. It’s a complete game changer, but make sure you have it in an easy-to-reach place in your pocket, because the TSA and any security checkpoint will ask questions.
  • Walking in parks with children can be overwhelming. Companies like Cybex have it lightweight strollers that can pack more gear and fit into smaller spaces; Coya also works. For road travelers the company’s car seat line includes options such as Callisto G360 and full circle with technical upgrades for added security.
  • For a lightweight choice of camera with a picture, vlogging compatibility, the ability to record directly on the frames, including direct download from the Internet, consider Lumix S9 from Panasonic. They come in beautiful colors but the biggest win here is the weight; even with a lens it’s not a boring camera to have to remember.
  • Be sure to check out the options for printing a photo from Vista Print to find vacation rentals and Disney travel books together. The company has some great end-of-year promotions to get mementos in your hands.
  • Say “Hello, Barbie” and Barbie x Kodak Printomatic instant digital camerawhich allows wireless uploading to your phone and fast printing to enjoy minimal maintenance.
  • There is also Barbie x Kodak Step Slim Wireless Instant Portable Photo Printer.
  • If you are confused and want to return it, Retrospekt also has 35mm Barbie and Ken cameras too. You don’t know how the images will turn out until the film is made. Amazing!

Have a great vacation!
