‘The best decision I made’

Real Betis Loan Antony says he has the time of his life in Spain after an increase since he left Manchester United.

When United borrowed Antonia Betis, the Spanish club believed that he was buying a player who was able to make a difference – not a wing that fought that lost his way to the Premier League.

The Brazilian arrived at the Old Trafford 2022 for a whopping £ 81m, but failed to repeat the form he showed in Ajax. When he left in January, confidence completely evaporated.

Betis, however, had a clear vision of how to revive Antony’s career. Ever since he joined, Antony has scored four goals and four assists in 12 games in all competitions.

In conversation with Dazna, he said, “I’m very happy. I found myself, I had to meet myself, I had to be happy, I should have been my family to be happy. Every day it goes through, I see that it is the best decision I made.

“I enjoy the city, the club, every day. (Seville) reminds me with a lot of things from Brazil – sun, food, everything. People are also very warm. I am very happy and that is for us as Brazilians.”

When Antony joined, Betis was sitting in 10th place in La Liga, but a winning series of six games-by-pointing derby triumph of 2-1 over Seville-he shot them to sixth place, only six points from the midfielder midfielder.

Betis has not played in the European top competition from the 2005-06 season, and the retention of Antonia beyond this season is now a great opportunity.

Betis does not have the ability to buy a loan agreement, but it seems that I am Antony open to extend my stay in Spain.

“I am very grateful to United for everything. I lived difficult moments in United, but also very good moments,” he added.

“I am also preparing to be here today, enjoying it. And well, today my head is here, I’m very happy.”
