Newcastle United reportedly took their first steps to secure the summer move for Bournemouth’s Dango Ouattar, with a potential transmission of 40 million euros.
According to the African leg, Newcastle already made moves behind the scenes as they prepare for the upcoming transfer.
The story suggests that the Magpies administration has made initial contact with representatives of Bournemouth Ouattar to discuss a potential agreement. Two clubs have already started talking about a transfers worth 40 million euros, and Magpies are eager to add a versatile winged player to their composition.
Ouattar, which has been in excellent form for Bournemouth with nine goals and four assists this season, perfectly fits the account for Newcastle purposes. His performances lit the Tyneside Club, which made it a key target for next season.
Bournemouth, for its part, will want to provide a premium fee for the 23-year-old, who joined the club FC Lorient for € 22.5 million in January 2023. Since his current contract is until June 2028, cherries are under immediate pressure for sale.
It remains to be seen whether Newcastle will be willing to pay almost twice as much as Bournemouth spent on Ouattar in 2023, but it is clear that Magpies made their interest in knowing and opened up conversations with their Riva in the Premier League.
