Real Madrid legend Luis Figo says he wouldn’t vote for Vinicius to win 2024 Ballon d’Or; Appoints his choice for the 2025 award

Real Madrid’s icon Luis Figo claimed that he would not vote for Vinika to win the title Ballon d’Or 2024. However, the former striker said he believes that the Brazilian striker is due to the candidate for winning the wished Golden Ball in 2025.

The Ballon D’Or 2024 edition was won by Manchester City midfielder Rodri, who enjoyed a starry campaign for club and country. The 28-year-old played a key role in the city’s winning EPL campaign and the Spanish triumph of Euro 2024, scoring 10 goals and 14 assists in 56 games.

“Whoever wins him, he earned. Rodri won the European Championship and deserved it, but Vinicius also had an incredible year, winning the Champions League … If I voted last year, I would choose Rodri, but this year, maybe Vinicius deserves it.”
