Preston, the only endoring league club that remained in this season’s FA Cup, will face Aston Villa in Deepdale in Sunday’s quarterfinal showdown.
Paul Heckingbottt’s Equad secured its place in the last eight beating Burnley 3-0 in the previous round, while the Unai Emery side progressed to eliminate Cardiff City.
Aston Villa remains in the dispute for both domestic and European silver vessels, and Emery’s proven expertise in the knockout of the competition that shone in the Champions League and in FA Cup.
After West Ham and Tottenham prevailed in earlier circles, Villa was generally without a problem in his 3-0 victory over Cardiff City, and Marco Asensio twice scored in the second half.
The Spanish player of the playmaker ended ten years of absence from the FA Cup quarterfinals for Villa, who last reached this stage in the 2014-15 campaign.
That year they beat West Brom before they fell in Arsenal in the finals.
Significantly, Villa won her last four quarterfinals FA Cup, she was not eliminated at this stage since the 1991-92 season.
They also entered an international break on the winning series with four games at all competitions.

In the meantime, Preston enjoyed an impressive running with his cups, playing all his games at home so far. The victories over Charlton and Wycombe placed the last 16 equal to Burnley, where they asked for a 3-0 win.
While Villa was waiting for the quarterfinal performance only a decade, Preston did not reach this stage from the 1965-66 season, when they fell to Manchester United.
In addition, Preston fought at recent meetings with Villa, winning only one of his last 15 meetings in all competitions. Accordingly, their latest three nodes – all championship matches in 2018 – ended with drawing.
Vile striker Ollie Watkins, who was surprisingly left out of England, sustained a minor knee injury against Club Brugge.
However, he has completely trained and is expected to start. The only confirmed absence of a villa is Ross Barkley (knee), while Axel Disasi is not acceptable for binding to the Cup.
Pau Torres also returns to full fitness after a metatarsal fracture.
Preston faces significant problems of the composition, and up to eight players are potentially unavailable. Sam Greenwood and Ryan Ledson are suspended, Ryan Porteous is attached to the Cup, and Kaine Kesler-Hayden is not acceptable against his home club.
In addition, Jack Whathough (calf) is out of season, while Ali McCann (Tele), Brad Potts (Knee) and Osman (hip) are suspicious. Osmajic also faces disciplinary action after charges of racist abuse against Burnley’s Hannibal Mejbri.

Preston against Aston Villa will start on Sunday at 1:30 pm and is available for watching on BBC One. Fans in the UK can also launch a game on BBC iPlayer.
Although long breaks can disturb the momentum, Villa is expected to be comfortable with the team of full power to the throne to Preston with these weakened injuries and suspensions.
Preston’s defensive setting can initially frustrate visitors, but Villina should eventually break the stack, allowing them to take control and progress to the semifinals.
Prediction: Preston 0-3 Aston Villa
