Jai Predetaia expressed his frustration for getting stuck, defending his IBF Cruiserweight title against Fringe Claudio Squeo candidate on May 13, not confronted with WBC and WBO champion Gilbert ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez in the United State. Operation Sounds helpless, like newbornsand unable to see the solution to his problem.
Shows signs of learned helplessness. His problem would easily be solved if he dared to leave the cruiser to look for a golden handle waiting in a heavyweight category.
Promotor Eddie Hearn says that the defense of the title of repeated against #14 IBF-RAGED SQUEO (17-0, 9 ko) to be busy and utilized his popularity on the Gold Coast. This is where repeated (27-0, 21 ko) fought earlier this year, hitting the fourth round of January 8 at the Gold Coast Congress Center, Broadbeach, Australia.
Boxing fans on social networks do not buy in Hearno’s excuses why repeatedly fighting a little known 34-year-old Squeo, because they view this guy as another crowd and see a pattern that forms with how he coincides.
Despite Ketaia holding a 27-0 record, he only fought with one good opponent during her 10-year professional career, 39-year-old Mairis Briedis, and almost lost to him in their rematch last May. Obviously, it was not a good look to reconcile to fight 40-ish briedis and be forced to run when the pressure under which it was placed became too much on the section.
Now that Briedis has withdrawn, the cruise division is completely infertile talent. Zurdo Ramirez is the only decent fighter in a weight class, except for the repeat. It is not surprising that none of the main lightweight weights are interested in moving upwards, because there is no one in the division who could make money. Cruiserweight is seen as a division in which fighters lacking talent for fighting in heavy categories decide to stay.
“Return to Gold Coast, defending his (IBF Cruiserweight) world title. Dazn boxSpeaking of the plans of Jai Predaaia. “The plan is to become undisputed and combine, but this guy wants to stay busy.
“In January, the Gold Coast event was wild (against David Nyik). We want to go back there, defending the world title in May. It is important to look good before you try to pick up those other belts by the end of 2025. I really want it to fight often this year.
It sounds good what Hearn tells of his explanation that Jai repeatia is fighting against Claudio Squeo, but this is not washed with the fans. They see it as a repeatia to bother his IBF title against another tomato, after his recent victories over similar fighters, Nyika and Jack Massey.
“We want a fight for Zurdo, but also, Badou Jack is fighting (Ryan) Rozicki, coming soon. It’s another fight. We have to get all these belts before we inevitably move into a heavy category,” Hearn said.
“It’s a little frustrating. I was chasing these unions. I pursued this fight for Zurdo, and yet, it didn’t come. I don’t know why,” said Ketaia.
“You’re an animal, that’s why,” Hearn said about why Jai can’t lead the fighting for unification against Gilbert ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez and the other champion in the Badou, Badou Jack. “The best should fight the best. He (Zurdo) has two belts. I have two belts (IBF and Ring). I was trying to commit myself to this fight, but it doesn’t make sense why it doesn’t go over the line.
If repeated is not happy to fight the opposition that feeds on him, he should already move into a heavy category and test against the best in that division. He will not work for him to pray WBA, WBC and WBO’s heavyweight champion Oleksandra Usyk to give him a free title title without working for it. If repeatedly wants to fight for the belt and make a big dollar, he must face Joseph Parker, Filip Hrgovic, Fabio Wardley and Martin Bakole to make a fight.
