AND Saudi Arabian interest in Gabriel Magalhaes It’s nothing new, it has been dating for several years.
In the summer of 2023, there was a fear in Arsenal that Gabriel’s head was facing the money he was on offer, which is why he remained from the team in those early games that season.
Mikel Arthtea publicly said she was tactical, but he didn’t. It was because of what was happening behind the scene with the interest of Saudi.
Arsenal did not want to lose him and in the end Gabriel remained placed, and Artete quickly brought him back to his initial XI after the situation was put to bed.
Since then, Gabriel has obviously gone into the formation of what, in my opinion, is the best partnership in the central part in the Premier League, and maybe even the world with William Salib.
So, the last thing Arsenal would like this summer is a repetition of what happened in 2023, but it would not be a surprise that the Saudi interest has resulted in a solid offer, although at this stage it is a little premature that it definitely will.
Obviously every player has a price, so I can’t sit here and say that Arsenal should not even think about sales if the offer arrived, but it should be huge to try them in business – in my opinion over £ 100m.
Gabriel is so important for this team at both ends of the terrain. My player of the Arsenal season is comfortable, and together with Salib, he is subject to the side of the side.
There will be changes in the defensive midfielder, the summer that the team will have to adapt to next season, so you do not want to change and in the central part.
So, it is important for me to connect Gabriel with a new contract because it absolutely deserves it.
He was the first player to truly signed a new contract when Arsenal made the last round of renewal, and I would imagine that his salaries were currently slightly below Saliba, which signed his extension a year later.
So obviously guarantees a new contract, the one who reflects his stature on this team. It has been proven that he is one of the best central backs in the world and should be paid as such.
It is in a strong position when it comes to talking about a contract. Early discussions began last year and have yet to make a conclusion, so this new sports director Andrea Berta will have to focus after starting her new role.
The interest of the Saudi will no doubt complicate things a little, but I hope Arsenal will discover him and convince Gabriel that his future remains in northern London.
Alexander Isak conversation will not leave.
Each time he does something good, guessing during the transition to Arsenal will appear again – as from Sunday’s incredible victory for Newcastle at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final.
We know that Arsenal would like to sign an Isak And we know that Mikel Arthta admired him a lot. Whether it takes an opportunity to get it this summer, I’m sure the club would throw out a boat to try to do it.
But I just don’t see that this is happening.
There is a proposal that if Newcastle misses the Champions League location, the door could open a little in terms of the possibility that they enter Isak, but even then I would consider it extremely unlikely.
I am sure that for the first time to sell several other players before considering the offer for Isaac, especially from the domestic rival.
They just don’t need to sell it. He has a long -term contract, and even if he says he doesn’t want to talk about extension, no need to let him go this summer.
It would need a monumental offer to try them to do business for their respected property and I just don’t see Arsenal come to a figure that would make Newcastle consider it
I said that before and I still think Benjamin is a far more likely option when it comes to a new striker coming this summer.
The club has made a lot of foundations when it comes to Slovenia International, and RB Leipzig will be open to business at the end of the season, unlike Newcastle.
It is great to see Myles Lewis-Skelly as he called to England. It is absolutely deserved.
Ideally, I think Thomas Tuchel would probably prefer to have at least one campsite with under the age of 21, but with other left -back options, he now had to include it.
As I said, that’s a deserved call. Lewis-Skelly has been exceptional since he entered the setting of the first team in Arsenal this season.
Nothing pierces him, and I’m sure he won’t, even with the additional supervision that comes with an invited England.
The way he took over to senior football this season, both in the Premier League and the Champions League, he was so impressive, especially when you argue that he plays in a position that is still relatively new to him.
He was recently known as the central midfielder, a player for a player who could jump out with important moments at any end of the field.
So, the fact that he made himself one of the best left -wing of the countries in the country in a short time at the age of only 18 shows how intelligent footballer is.
There is an opinion that at some point he will move on to the field and back to the role in the middle, but I do not really see that this is happening, I have to say, in the short term anyway.
I think he is so well suited to the inverted role of the left back and this allows him to act in the central areas anyway. So I don’t see the point right now to get back to the middle of the field.
Fair Play for Mika Biereth. It’s great to see him doing so well in Monaco.
You expect him to see his name on the leaves every time they play at the moment, given how fertile he was from his transition from Stern Graz in January.
It is easy to watch and say that Arsenal will regret letting him go, especially since he achieves so much at a time when the club has to act without a central striker.
But I don’t think Arsenal will see him like that. They will be happy when they see him doing so well.
He may think that they should have endured and did not sell it for only £ 4m to Sturm Graz, but at that moment he made it clear that he would not sign a new contract, so they were not in a big position for negotiations.
I know that they were quite satisfied with the agreement they had concluded with Sturm Graz at the time, and also the sales fee, the one who saw them that additional several million were from his further move to Monaco.
Arsenal loved Biereth when he was at the club. They knew he was a good goalkeeper, but there were doubts about whether he would be good enough to be the main man in the club, which is something he absolutely wants to be in any club he plays for.
So I think it was a good move for all the parties he came out and continued his career. This is what is certainly worth it for him so far, and that will continue.
