Carlo Ancelotti struck a crowded football calendar with his Real Madrid side, facing Villarreal tomorrow, less than 72 hours after Their arduous Champions League beat Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.
Madrid demanded that the penalties to raise his city rivals, although much of the focus afterwards, was at the controversial decision to prevent the video of Julian Alvarez after the judgment that he touched the ball twice.
It was a long and emotional night, and Acelotti was frustrated that his players would not get more time to rest in front of another Crunch match in the title race.
He said, “I don’t understand, but we can’t do anything. The minimum (gap) is 72 hours. I don’t understand … but it’s a calendar here.
“Television law is a priority, not a player recovery.
“We haven’t stopped from January for a moment, playing every three days. A game is the 21st or 22 tomorrow. (This calendar year). It’s too much. Even for me, which is not played.
“The game prepares every three days … The players don’t have time to recover. But what can be done? The only thing possible is to stop, but that can’t be done.”

Italian admitted that a short turn would probably affect their approach to the game.
“We will have to make extraordinary efforts tomorrow,” he added. “We can’t have the energy you need and freshness, because we don’t have enough time for that. But we have to put in a good attitude, play an intelligent game. For example, there are many ways to win, processing good.”
This is another ticklish test for the Madrid side that are not far from home in La Liga on January 25, lost in Espanyol and Real Betis and drawing in Osasuni.
The five -ranked Villarreal will seek to start again with his hopes that he will end up at the Champions League qualifiers after he lost last weekend on Alaves.
Ancelotti confirmed that Vinicius JR received an additional day of rest after his muffled appearance against Atletia, which also included that he was scaring the penalty in the second half.
The Brazilian international criticism has received criticism of his view in the metropolitan, but his coach quickly supported one of his stars.
Ancelotti said, “He can play better or worse, but he’s indisputable. If sometimes he doesn’t play well or fails … I’m not discussing it. He was so important for this club that they can’t be discussed.”
Madrid will have the same detachment to travel to Villarreal, with the exception of the defender Ferland Mendy, who could miss four weeks with a knee problem.
Fran Garcia is expected to replace, while 39-year-old Luka Modric is likely to rest. This could mean that Fede Valverde returned to the middle, and Lucas Vazquez played with the right Bek.
Villarreal has reported a new concern for injuries, but Gerard Moreno and Ilias Akhomachh remain side.
