Ravicharndran Ashwin selects the crash order for CT 2025

Ravicharndran Ashwin chose Rachina Ravandra and Ben Duckett as a team opener. Ravandra appeared as a leading tournament runner with 263 rides in five games on average 65.75. He was also declared a player of the tournament.

On the other hand, Ben Duckett was one of the few glossy lights for England. He scored 227 runs in three matches on average 75.66 and a strike rate of 108.61, which appeared as the third highest scorer of the tournament.

Ravicharndran Ashwin selected the Indian virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer as no. 3 and number 4 in line. Kohli scored 218 runs on average 54.50, while Iyer appeared as the highest Indian run with 243 rides on average 48.60.

The Australian Josh Inglis is a guardian on the side. Ingglis was great with gloves and also played a magnificent 120* hit against England to help Australia a 350+ result.

David Miller scored in his team number 6. The left back scored 100 out of 67 balls in the semifinals against New Zealand who went in vain, but was very impressive during his knock.

A bowling unit dominated by a spin

Azmatullah Omarzai and the New Zealand Michael Bracewell will play the roles of Allrounder in the lower order. They both impressed with a stick and a ball and gave the team balance.

Ashwin chose two Indian bowlers of Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy as the main spinners of the team. Both Kuldeep and Chakravarthy were great on the useful terrain in Dubai.

Chakravarthy was particularly impressive and appeared as the second highest WICKET carrier, picking up 9 Wickeke despite playing only three matches in the tournament. On the other hand, Kuldeep picked up 7 Wicks in five games.

Matt Henry was chosen as a lonely specialist pacer in this line. In four matches, Henry picked up 10 Wickskets in four matches and ended up as the highest tournament carrier.

Indian strategy dominated by spin

The tournament took place in three cities of Pakistan – Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi – and Dubai according to the hybrid model. While the parcels in Pakistan were adapted, the terrain in Dubai had enough help for the spinners that India used well.

The Blue men played with four spinners in the form of Varun Chakravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Ravidra Jadeja. This seemed to their advantage because the opposition was difficult to deal with them.
