Christian Horner says Red Bull did not talk about the reception they received at the F1 75 Live, despite admitting his “disappointment” Boos to Max Verstappen.
Last week, Horner fans at F1 London’s launch last week when Red Bull revealed that their 2025 Livery was in 2025, and it seemed that Verstappen had received a mixed reception when shown on screens in the O2 Arena.
The F1, FIA governing body has since published a statement in which it expressed its “disappointment to” reactions “Tribalist” and announced the coalition to fight the abuse on the network, United against internet abuse.
“Fia has made her own comments on this. We certainly did not have any conversation with FIA after the event, it was part of their campaign to abolish internet abuse,” Horner said in the pre-season F1 test in Bahrein, who is to live on Sky Sports F1 and free to flow on Sky Sports app.
He added, “Running your car is a bit like launching your guest appearance at the fans stadium. The fans will always support the teams and drivers they want.
“Of course, we were the main protagonists over the years. I suppose the only disappointment with him was that the reception of Max as the four -time world champion was disappointing.
“The passion in sports will always be there, if the launch was in the Netherlands, no doubt the reception would be slightly different.”
Neither Verstappen or Liam Lawson talked to the fans, unlike the other 18 drivers while launching. Said the director of the Mercedes Toto Wolff team Sky Sports News That he thought Verstappen was not aroused.
Horner says that inevitable fans will respond differently “depending on where you are racing in the world and that is part of the elite sport.”
“Fans are DNA sports. I think Fanda has apparently changed in the last few years, because we have welcomed all various fans in sports,” he said.
“The sport is polarizing and competitive. The fans are passionate, and they support their drivers, they support mostly, their teams. You can’t dictate it.”
McLaren has received one of the greatest joy on the night, and Lando Norris has become one of the most popular online drivers in recent years.
Last season, a rivalry began between the Red Bull McLaren, including between Horner and Zak Brown, and both teams tried to get an advantage while the title battle became more intense.
Verstappen won the driver’s title, but McLaren secured the championship of his first constructor in 26 years.
Brown says fans “expressed their opinion on who they cheered or not.”
“I have never been to a sports event that was calm, where someone is not shouting at a football player for missing naked or in ice hockey or baseball,” he said.
“Sport brings passion with fans, and they cheer up and they rise. I haven’t heard anything other than cheering and noise. I must have seen a lot worse on social media, where you go:” Wait a minute, somehow goes a little too far. “
“But cheering and booing were part of the sport, every sport, forever, and fans do it. They shout at their TV when they look with their friends.
“Everyone has a favorite team, your favorite driver, a less favorite side. I just think it’s a sport. I didn’t think anything was violent, and you definitely see other sports that rolled out. That was far from.
