Deciding in a bowl of first, Delhi capitals faced a strong screen from Warriorz, especially from Chinelle Henrywhose explosive knock turned the game in favor of his team.

UP Warriorz set a competitive total total number

Asked to suffer first, UP Warriorz requested an impressive 177/9 in 20 additions. Inings went slowly, and Kiran Prabhu Navgire (17 off 20), Vrinda Dinesh (4 off 7) and Deepti Sharma (13 off 19) who struggled to find momentum. Tahlia McGrath (24 off 23) made decent contributions but either Chinelle Henry who stole the play.

Henry played a sensational knock, breaking the undefeated 62 out of only 23 balls, including 8 six and 2 fours, which led Warriorz to a brilliant total number. Her explosive stroke in death proved to be a moment that changes in the game.

Delhi Capitals, Jess Jonassen, was a highlighted bowler, she claimed that 4 Wicke was a 31 ride. Marisanne Kapp (2/18) and Arundhati Reddy (2/52) provided breakthroughs, but the damage caused by Henry proved too much.

Delhi Capitals fight in chase

Chasing 178, Delhi Capitals had a trembling start because the skipper Meg Lanning (5 off 5) fell early. Shafali Verma (24 off 30) kept one end, but struggled to speed up. Inings revived Jemimah Rodrigues, who played a great blow of 56 of 35 balls, hitting 8 square and 1 six.

However, the lack of support from the middle and lower order makes it difficult to chase. Kapp (9 off 9), Annabel Sutherland (5 off 5), and Jonassen (5 off 4) failed to build partnerships. Niki Prasad (18 off 10) and Shikha Pandey (15 off 13) added some late rides but that wasn’t enough as Delhi Capitals were thrown out for 144 in 19.3.
