Abdullah Mason focused on Jaimes but his champions are on his mind

Abdullah Mason thinks he is now ready to fight for the world title against any of the champions in a light division. Mason (16-0, 14 ko) fights Manuel Jaimes (16-2-1, 11 ko) in the fight against eight rounds this Friday, February 14, at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York.

Mason’s ambition

Mason, 20, has the opportunity to upgrade the main event between the WBO champion in the lightweight category Denys Berinchyk and Keyshawn Davis. That would be impressive if he could do it because Keyshawn caught most of the accumulation until Friday at the event, with his garbage and top rank, putting him in the center of attention, hoping to be their next big star.

Mason was not well in his last fight against Yohan Vasquez on November 8th. Fighting at Keyshaww’s Undercard in Norfolk, Virginia, Mason fell twice in the first round, but returned to the knockout of Vasquez in the second round.

The event on Friday will be shown Lives on ESPN and ESPN+, starting at 9:00 pm/6: 00 pm pt.

Dream title

“I see myself up with the guys who hold the titles. Skill, I feel like I can hold my own in one of those fights and go out to the top,” said Abdullah Mason. “But we prove ourselves and continue to take these steps forward. We hope to capture a smaller title later this year.”

“He comes to fight. He’ll let go of his hands, and he will bring her,” said Abdullah Mason Fix About his opponent for Friday, Manuel Jaimes. “I’m here to do my job, which is that it looks like everyone else.

“We’ll make it look easy. That’s why I’m here. Doing the same thing I did to everyone else, whoever I arrive. If they put me in front of the champion, they will see what is happening, “Abdullah said.

Top Rank is unlikely to soon move Mason to the world title due to his age and last appearance. He is too young and inexperienced to take over any of the champions in light. Top Rank is likely to wait until the Freemason is 24 or 25 before they put it in a world title.

“Absolutely. It’s a division where I’m not in?” Mason said asking if she was at some point that he was fighting Keyshawn Davis. Whoever opposes myself, you will see all the flaws. If they give me a chance, why not? “Abdullah said when asked if he wanted to fight Gervont Davis.

“When I get the opportunity, let’s go and go the best way,” Mason said.
